Rescue 48 is a 2007 Pierce Rescue Engine. It is the first due truck for accidents and rescue calls in town, and carries a compliment of Holmatro battery-powered rescue tools, air bags for lifting, struts, jacks, and cribbing for stabilizing cars, as well as many other common tools used for firefighting. The Rescue has seating for 6, an onboard generator, light tower, and air bottle refill station. It carries 750 gallons of water, 30 gallons of Class A and B foam.
