Special Services 48 is equipped with water and ice rescue equipment, additional rescue struts for vehicle extrication, a set of Holmatro extrication tools, and an onboard generator and light tower. It also has equipment for hazmat response including booms, pads, and decor kits, as well as pumps and hoses for dewatering and salvage operations.
