Tanker 48 is a 2010 Peterbilt with a US Tanker body. It has a tank capacity of 3,500 gallons and a 1,250 gallon per minute pump. The tanker carries a portable tank that can be lowered from the side of the truck, set up and then filled by either our own tanker or a mutual aid tanker during a larger operation. The tanker can either pump the water from its tank to another apparatus, or offload the tank using dump valves on either the driver’s side or passenger side of the vehicle. The tanker carries a variety of different adapters and appliances for transferring water, establishing water supplies; as well as some basic hand tools and other tools. The tanker has a 2-man cab.
