Station 48 has been busy ringing in the holiday season the past couple of weeks. On Friday, December 5th members opened the firehouse doors to host the annual Christmas Tree lighting while also providing a in-house crew to respond to any emergency calls that came in. We were back at it bright and early on Sunday, December 7th with members assisting the Lions Club of Cranbury at their annual pancake breakfast. Members traded the jaws of life and thermal imaging cameras for griddles and spatulas and assisted with cooking breakfast and serving all the guests who came out for the event.
Stay tuned with your eyes (and ears) open next weekend December 20th and 21st as Santa comes to town aboard our apparatus for our annual Operation Santa! For any resident wishing to have a gift delivered, this Monday, December 15th will be the final night for drop-offs at the firehouse starting at 7 p.m. Just a reminder that this is open to residents of Cranbury only.
