This morning Station 48 was dispatched along with Hightstown Engine Company # 1 and Tanker 57 responded to the NJ Turnpike for a reported vehicle fire. Crews from Engine 41 and Rescue 48 stretched handlines to extinguish the fire while Tanker 57 supplied water. Crews made quick work of extinguishing the fire before clearing and turning the scene over the NJSP and the tow.
